Carnival

Carnival is a unique and colorful festival. Every year around the time of Shrove Alicante celebrates this lively festival that last for ten days. Hogueras San Juan - St John's Bonfires

The Hogueras San Juan is the famous festival celebrated with noisy fire cracker display from 20th to June 29th in Alicante city. During this festival each neighborhood constructs a falla (paper mache statue) that displayed in the streets.

Semana Santa

It is a most religious celebration of Alicante that held in either March or April each year. Semana Santa lasts between Palm Sunday to resurrection Easter Sunday.
